The Hair by Carla story
Built on kindness and care
"I love my job, love hair, love people and love life. I'm a very positive person and love to make people feel at home. I keep updating my knowledge by attending courses and fashion shows."
Carla started her own business prioritising health and the impact of pollution on the world. After months of research she found Organic Colour Systems — a British hairdressing manufacturer in the New Forest that is organic, vegan friendly, cruelty free and gluten free, using PCR packaging and local ingredients.
Being made in the UK means organic hair care is affordable to everyone, with a much smaller carbon footprint.

Meet Carla
I have been doing hair for 18 years. I love my job, and my salon is where I spend most of my time. I specialise in all aspects of hair colouring and hair repair.
I also love working with different hair textures — and being curly myself, I specialise in and understand curly hair.
I'm a mum to my son Daniel and to two beloved cats, Kiko my Maine Coon and Princess-Sissi, my rescued Portuguese Siamese.
I am vegan for the animals and for the planet, because I believe in unconditional love, respect for any life, and I truly care for our beautiful planet.

I have been hairdressing for over 25 years. I love working with Carla and love the ethos and the organic, natural approach we offer our lovely clients.
I enjoy spending time with people and listening to their hair needs — from colouring to cutting, I love helping make a change to people's hair.
Working at Hair by Carla has opened my eyes to a better way of hairdressing and, most of all, to health and wellbeing. I wouldn't choose to work anywhere else.
I'm a mum to two gorgeous girls, a wife, and a mummy to our four-legged boy, Charlie.
